Peter Hedger joined our Koo’s Racing Club’s team in January 2010 as we were searching to expand further towards the south of England.   Peter started training in 1985 and trained for over 20 years at Eastergate in Sussex.  He enjoyed success with horses such as Jimmy Lorenzo, Avonburn and Kilcash doing well over jumps, and Brilliant Red, Secret Spring and Autumn Cover amongst his best on the Flat.

In 2007 Peter has handed his trainer’s licence in to enjoy retirement in France, but he soon got bored and persuaded by one of his long-time friend Peter moved back to UK and in 2009 he started training again.   Peter is now situated at Peaked Croft Farm in Dogmersfield in Hampshire, which is close to Basingstoke and just off junction 5 of the M3.  

Peter’s new premises are licensed just for 17 boxes, but he hopes to get up to 30 in due course.  So as you can see the premises remains a work in progress for the time being.
