“From the very beginning you feel like a part of the family, all the members are a really nice bunch. The supply of information about your own horses is regular and informative. “I have been interested in racing most of my life having been taken to the races as a kid by my dad. I was looking to increase that interest but could never afford to buy and pay for the upkeep of a horse on my own. So when a friend introduced me to Kristian (Koo) it seemed an ideal opportunity. Kristian took the time to explain how the Club worked and that the fees would be set for the year, also that I could either buy or lease a share of a horse. I looked at the horses on the website and picked 'My One Weakness' a 2 year old at the time who had been placed in a couple of races.  'Weakness' proved to be a battler and has won twice providing me with a great thrill as a winning owner.  The set up of the Club is really friendly so if you are thinking of taking that step into ownership I would recommend you give it a go, it’s been a really good experience.”

“Koo’s Racing Club really works.   For someone like me who loves horses and horse racing it has everything.  Kristian and his team make you feel as if you are an important member of the club.  I receive regular updates on all their runners with Kristian’s expert knowledge on how they are likely to run.  There are visits to the stables where Brian Ellison makes everyone feel welcome.  And above all I feel there is real value for money, it would seem that there is an opportunity to be involved in owning a racehorse for most pockets – though it can be hard to quantify the thrill of seeing your horse win! “

“We have been a member of Koo's Racing Club since August 2009.  We have found the service given by Kristian and Zuzka to be excellent right from the beginning.  From the moment we signed up we have been kept very well informed and updated about the horses, racing fixtures etc on a regular basis.  We receive regular newsletters and get daily texts about any horses that are running which belong to the club and their capabilities of winning! Unfortunately we were unable to attend the open days that are held at the stables due to work commitments but Kristian and Zuzka arranged for us to have a visit to the stables on a separate occasion which we really enjoyed.  It was lovely to see all the horses. Kristian and Zuzka make you feel very welcome and part of the Koo's Racing Club.”

“I'd been thinking of joining Koo's Racing Club for a while and finally took a leased share in Dontpaytheferryman in January, knowing he was entered to run at Southwell later in the week.  Anyway he won taking the score for the club to three in just a few months, with a horse very difficult to win with.  Kristian keeps club members up to date with plans for their horse and sends text messages whenever the club has a runner, saying how he rates the horses’ chance and what would be a fair price.  He's phoned me a couple of times and it seems nothings too much trouble; with owners badges available when your horse runs it really is a great way to start as an owner.”
