The apple of my eye last year, Koo and the Gang showed his potential when beating the multiple winner Singeur in his maiden at Southwell.   That was the highlight of his 2009 season sadly as a few factors transpired against him.

The main factor that hindered Koo last year was his continued bouts of self harming that left him needing veterinary treatment several times.   We still are unsure what happened each time but basically we would go for morning stables and find that he cut his head open so severely he needed staples rather than stitches to reattach the skin back to the flesh.

It was an awful sight for people to see continually, so for a while we gave up on stabling him to see if he would stop the self harming and since last summer it has worked thankfully

This can hopefully give us the chance to train him properly this season and see him produce the results we though he was capable of last year and progress from what seems a very favourable handicap mark.
