The winner of 3 races inside 8 days early last season including a win at Goodwood off a handicap mark of 81, Global comes to Koo’s Racing Club as a potential high class dual purpose horse.

Although bred by a sprinter he has all the size and scope of a hurdler and couple this with his dam’s family including chasers such as Deep Purple who this year won the Charlie Hall chase over 3m and the Peterborough Chase, then we get an idea that if he takes after his mother’s side the potential is massive.

Previous connections at the sale where I bought him confided in me that they felt they had over raced Global after his promising early hat-trick, and with this in my mind I felt it best to give him an extended winter holiday. 

Global already made his hurdling debut finishing creditable 3rd at Worcester on 18 August 2010.
