To be honest ‘Dodger’ has been a nervous wreck for some time.  We think he suffers from claustrophobia which means he doesn’t like being stabled up in the normal way overnight.  If he is stuck in a stable then he paces around his box worrying all night and has no energy for racing.

Therefore ‘Dodger’ has access to the best stable box in the whole yard as it allows him to shelter from the elements when needed and if he feels crowded and he wants to go outside he can go and walk into a nearby paddock as often as he wants to.

This season will tell us if these changes we’ve made to his daily routine have made a difference and if they do I fully expect a few victories.

Dodgers' one other trait is that he can’t turn left, therefore he would perfectly suit any members who love a trip to right handed tracks such as Beverley and Ripon.
