We all enjoy a nice holiday and we believe our horses also benefit from a nice break every now and then. Once we've decided that they are ready for a break we look to house them at various locations over the winter to give the horses a change of scenary whilst on their winter holidays.
The Holidays are now offically over though and stable favourites such as Saptapadi, Best Trip and Mon Brav are now back at Brians stables getting ready for another season of hard work and hopefully many wins.
Shares are available in both horses so if you are feeling lucky and would like to have a share in either of them (or even both of them) please get in touch with us.
Dontpaytheferryman on Tuesday becomes Koo's Racing Club first ever runner over fences, when he runs at Sedgefield.
His jockey Keith Mercer has been down to Brian's stales to ride him and popped him over a few fences where they described his jumping as very brave, low and quick.
We know this doesnt always show on the track though, so we will be just delighted if he jumps round and comes home safe.
Althought we broke all our records regards prize money in 2013, its fair to say we didn't enjoy the best year for the numbers of winners ending the season on only 13 winners.
However, it hasn't taken us long to start 2014 with a winner as Silly Billy won nicely at Southwell under Dale Swift.
The day was tinged with sadness though as after the race he was bought by another trainer, and became the second horse of ours lately to win and be sold immediately. We wish the new owners all the best.
We also look forward to having lots more winners throughout 2014 and if you would like to be part of our sucess then get in touch.
We have recently purchased two new horses.
The first one is 3yo gelding called Aspirantand the second horse is 3yo geldingEpic Voyage. Both horses are still to make their debut runs under our ownership.
Anyone interested in either of the above two horses please do not hesitate and get in touch.
Finally we had another winner and it was courtesy of the old boy Pravda Street and Ben Curtis in a claiming race at Wolverhampton. And what more ... Pravda Street gave our trainer Brian Ellison his 100th winner of the year! Well done Brian and the whole team. Keep up the good work and we want to see the same great results next year
Pravda Street followed his win at Wolverhampton with a win at Southwell under Dale Swift. Sadly for us the old boy Pravda Street was sold after the race to Mr. K Edwardson. We wish him and his new connections all the best for the future and plenty more wins on board.
